Job description:
  • Monitor and improve the existing Risk Management Framework (RMF);
  • Promote awareness of the RMF by coordinating and delivering risk management training to all the Company employees and the Management Board;
  • Regularly review and update relevant Risk management and internal control policies and procedures, which purpose is to identify any risk that the Company will not comply with the laws governing the Company’s activities;
  • Coordinate and maintain the Risk Management system and registers as well as maintain the company’s Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and ensure timely and accurate reporting of them;
  • Contribute to the Company’s strategic management and business planning processes;
  • Perform compliance risk monitoring in order to determine and assess the compliance of the Company’s activities/services provided;
  • Identify, analyse and monitor the Company’s risk management issues and trends, including compliance issues;
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly Risk Management and Compliance reports for the Company’s Management Boar immediately report to the Management Board if significant compliance violations are identified;
  • Perform a compliance assessment and independent assessment of risk management practices and the control and based on the results, prepare a compliance control plan;
  • Regularly in accordance with legal requirements assist in the preparation of training programs and training for employees and management;
  • Participate in all important changes in the organizational structure, which include the adoption of new business areas, services or products that will be offered or distributed to clients, as well as the establishment/renewal of employee remuneration policy;
  • Participate in the monitoring of the customer complaint handling procedure;
  • Participate in cooperation with the Bank of Lithuania and other supervisory institutions;
  • Support relevant stakeholders in conducting Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and preparing Business Continuity Plans (BCP);
  • Support relevant stakeholders in conducting Outsourcing risk assessments and associated controls;
  • Ensure proper and timely reporting to Regulators on risk and compliance related matters;
  • Consult the Company’s management and employees on matters of compliance.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in the Risk Management and Internal Compliance Control field preferably in a Banking or EMI environment;
  • Have a solid understanding of the Risk and Compliance Management best practices in the industry as well as legal requirements of the Republic of Lithuania, the European Union, and international legal acts, guidelines and positions of the European Banking Authority and Bank of Lithuania;
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a risk and compliance management framework as 2nd line of defence officer;
  • Ability to draft extensive and detailed documents in line with regulation as well as conduct independent risk and compliance assessments;
  • Experience preparing and conducting employee and relevant stakeholders trainings;
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing regulatory and operational landscape;
  • Experience working with Outsourcing, BIA and BCP’s;
  • Proficient in professional English (C1-C2 level).
